We start with your work.
A real case. A time-consuming task. The people doing it. We start there, before choosing technology.

Nicolas Mathieu · Founder of ClairAI
You have a problem to solve. I help you define it, then our specialists and I build and show you what works. If an existing tool is enough, I’ll tell you. If something is blocked, I’ll tell you that too.
15 years in product and technology · Paris, Montreuil and remotely

The approach · No nonsense
A real case. A time-consuming task. The people doing it. We start there, before choosing technology.
Fix existing tools, use a product or build something custom: the choice should serve your need. Adding AI is not a goal in itself.
Scope, price and acceptance criteria. Demonstrations using your cases. Limitations and blockers explained along the way.
Access, documentation, onboarding and maintenance are part of the discussion. You know who takes over and how the tool keeps running.
Today
Applications, products, training.
I founded ClairAI in 2025. I scope each project from how teams actually work, then coordinate the specialists who develop the first version and improve it with its users. Web apps, mobile apps and AI agents: the technology follows the need.
Custom applications →I develop and run SquareTally, for takeoffs and estimates from plans, and CrowdMate, a concert app cofounded with Laurence Mertens. Designing products and keeping them running every day informs my practice.
Projects and how they work →I train professionals in AI using their own documents and tasks, including as a training and adoption partner at Cercle IA. The aim is to know how to try, verify and reuse what works.
AI training for teams →Before ClairAI
The experience below comes from my previous roles, before ClairAI was founded.
2023 — 2025
Chief Product Officer, executive committee member
At this SaaS venture studio, I led strategy and roadmaps for several products. I built the product organization, recruited product owners and worked with the CTO on design and delivery methods. Four new SaaS products and four major extensions were delivered in under six months.
2022 — 2023
Senior Product Manager, AI and automation
At this Blackstone company, I led the AI transformation of customer service for a platform of over 30,000 homes. Work began alongside support teams: listening to calls, mapping journeys and choosing use cases. It continued with the gradual rollout of an assistant and summarization and reply-drafting features in Zendesk.
2021 — 2022
Product Manager, B2B data platform
I worked on aligning the roadmap with business goals, acquisition channels and onboarding. This experience reinforced my approach to connecting product decisions with usage and data.
2019 — 2020
Product Manager, air traffic control
I contributed to pilot tools using machine learning for air traffic controllers within Digilab. Work covered the backlog, user needs and acceptance testing in an environment where traceability and verification are essential.
2017 — 2019
Product Manager, B2B marketplace
I supported a platform connecting businesses and service providers: redesigned journeys, onboarding and usage measurement. Hands-on experience with both sides of a marketplace.
